USC Freshman Football Players Deem Dorm Rooms Unacceptable, Cafeteria Food Trite And Uninspired
27 August 2007, 5:00 PM. By Alex Ferreyra

It seems that some first-year USC football players have been complaining about their dorm rooms. Machochip doesn’t usually condone freshman hazing in sports. It creates an atmosphere of mistrust, and it’s really hard to train when you’ve been wrapped around a goalpost with athletic tape. If it has to exist, though, this is the perfect example of when to whip out the tape.
“A lot of guys were mad because there was no air (conditioning) and the room was small,” tailback Marc Tyler said.
After complaining to administrators, Tyler, tailback Joe McKnight, wide receiver Brandon Carswell and defensive end Trey Henderson were among those moved into a better dorm.
“It’s a lot more comfortable… everybody is happy now.”
Well, except for the students who were shifted into the airless, cramped quarters you were previously in.
