Two gyms in Queens, New York were definitely pumping out more than yoga mats and extra towels in their sports shop. If you needed a quick pick me up in the form of angel dust, or wanted to drop some ecstasy while working out your glutes, all you had to was drop a password and you’d get yourself a ziploc of some of the good stuff. Sports Illustrated dropped the bomb that the NYPD ran an 18-month long sting, called ‘Operation Dumbbell’ (brilliant!), and netted more that 24 hoarders of illegal wonder juice and other exotic narcotics.

Two dozen people, including a professional female boxer, were charged on Friday in an undercover investigation of two gyms in Queens suspected of peddling steroids and other drugs to aspiring boxers, body builders and other clients.
