Awaiting Trial And Losing Friends, Ron Mexico Decides To Get All TJ On Our Asses

Ron Mexico—beleaguered NFL quarterback Michael Vick’s alias when he visits Clinics to clean up his “mishaps”—tested positive for pot a couple of weeks back and is now under house arrest, a day after a grand jury indicted him on new charges. Now all his former Falcon teammates are trying to distance themselves from him once and for all.

Vick’s one-time teammates tried to distances themselves from his latest troubles.
“That’s the last thing I’m worried about,” linebacker Keith Brooking said at the Falcons’ suburban practice facility. “We’re 0-3. We’re trying to get a win.”
Safety Lawyer Milloy agreed.
“I just want to play ball,” he said. “I’m so tired of talking about everything else, stuff we can’t control that has nothing to do with us.”

Yeesh. At this point we can’t blame Vick for something like this. If we were about to spend 18 months in the slammer and everyone was hating on us, we’d be trying to get high all the time, too.
