Ding Dong Ditchin’ The World Boxing Championships

Looks like those Cuban boxers that defected a few months back are inspiring some copycats. Three boxers went missing this week during the World Boxing Championships in Chicago implying that either political asylum is a hot new trend, or they are pansies. Two Ugandans (only one pictured) and one Armenian decided that they’d vouch for the mean streets of the Windy city instead of duking it out in the ring.

Chicago Police do not consider the boxers missing because they are adults and there isn’t any evidence to suggest foul play is involved, but officials said the incident is classified as a “a non-criminal, unauthorized absence.”

Put aside that political crap and give us some damn knockouts already! We don’t even know if these guys were any good, but we still feel fucking jipped.
