Frank Yallop Let’s Beckham Know “Gov’nor, There Aren’t Any Guarantees”.

It’s been ages since we’ve talked about David Beckham. Luckily for us, he might play this weekend against the New York Red Bulls. The match may even turn out to be important. If the Galaxy are victorious, then this crazy league might actually see them in the playoffs. Go figure. Unfortunately for Beck’s, Frank Yallop (Galaxy manager) wants to make it very clear that he isn’t guaranteed a spot in the starting eleven.

“Whatever combination of players I put out there has to win a game. It’s not about one person; he knows that. I’m not going to just change the line-up with the people coming back from injury. You can’t do that with a team that’s on a six-game unbeaten streak and has won five games in a row.”

If we were Yallop we’d tell Beck’s to steer clear from the pitch and continue sitting in the luxury suites sippin’ club soda.
