Italian cyclist Danilo Di Luca has been suspended for three months by the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) over steroid use. Di Luca was linked to Carlo Santuccione in a case called “Oil for Drugs.” We have no clue what the hell they are talking about, but what we’ve gathered is that Santuccione was to Italian cyclists as BALCO was to Barry Bond’s muscles. Di Luca has vehemently denied he’s ever been a dope[r], but recent tests conducted by CONI provided damaging evidence.

CONI [...] found hormone levels in Di Luca’s system that normally correspond to a child in a surprise test taken during his Giro win in June, although the committee said that case was a separate issue and did not enter into Tuesday’s decision.

We totally agree that discovering a grown man has yet to reach puberty is definitely a separate issue.
