Reigning tennis king Roger Federer recently met with journalist (PBS) Charlie Rose to discuss the enticing rivalry between him and fellow Spanish tennis star, Rafael Nadal (pictured left.) The interview commenced with Federer rambling on about why he’s the best. He pompously compares his place in tennis to Tiger Wood’s place in golf. Then, Federer reveals he thinks retired tennis-pro Andre Agassi is a wuss for using two hands to hit a backhand. Never wary of sounding like an elitist bastard, Federer then turns to his rival, Spaniard Rafael Nadal.
“He’s a totally different guy to me. He has a different look you know? Much more of an aggressive type.”
Like, let’s say, a caveman? Charlie Rose decided to fuel the flames a bit more by asking Federer what he thought about Nadal’s on the court aggressiveness.
“What about the fist pumping in the air and all of that? And the vocal sounds and those kind of things?”
Did they just start talking about a chango? Check out the interview below.
