Roman Abramovich has been creaming his silk boxers during twilight hours the past few weeks over the thought of acquiring the most exciting buck-tooth in futbol-landia: Ronaldinho. Only problem? Barcelona are unlikely to sell of their most prestigious name. Vatos at the Guardian reported:
Abramovich met the Barcelona superstar’s brother and agent Roberto de Assis Moreira over the weekend, evaluating whether the most audacious piece of transfer business since his Stamford Bridge takeover might be possible.
This guy is like a sperm-whale trying to swallow the entire ocean. The owner’s persistence seems to be troublesome for the Catalan club’s directors and they’ve taken Abramovich’s attempts to lure the Brazilian seriously:
[Ronaldinho is] not for sale. We do not want to sell Ronaldinho. He is our player and I am totally convinced that he will remain at the club.
Because of course, having four of the most prolific strikers in soccer (Ronaldinho, Eto’o, Messi, Henry) on your squad isn’t enough.
