It turns out Cristiano Ronaldo has a joint checking account with his mom. Not only that, but she gives the green light for all his purchases, from the smallest bottle of hair gel to the fastest Ferrari. We don’t know how he does it. We had problems asking our mom for an ice cream when we were younger, so we couldn’t even imagine asking for a Leeds hooker.

In an interview in Portugal, she said: “I still looked after his wages until he was 18 and even now the money he earns goes into a joint account in mine and his names.”
