La Liga didn’t want to wait until this weekend to kick off it’s 10th round of action. Multiple matches took place today; there were some slaughterings; and our siesta time had to be cut in half. Our Spanish wine pouch is getting a lot of action this week.
- Real Madrid’s boys were reluctant to show mercy against a scraggly looking Valencia and beat their nalgas 5-1.
- Juan Roman Riquelme who? Villareal beat up on bottom feeders Levante 3-1 to stay within four points of Real Madrid.
- We’re so in love with fĂștbol that even bottom tier teams excite us. Osasuna bulldozed through Real Betis 3-0, lifting them to eleventh place! Okay, we’re not that excited.
- Real Zaragoza (yes everyone is anointed by the “king”) snatched three points away from Almeria, beating them 1-0.
