Spain’s La Liga Roundup: Because You’re All Still Wide Awake On The West Coast

La Liga didn’t want to wait until this weekend to kick off it’s 10th round of action. Multiple matches took place today; there were some slaughterings; and our siesta time had to be cut in half. Our Spanish wine pouch is getting a lot of action this week.

• Real Madrid’s boys were reluctant to show mercy against a scraggly looking Valencia and beat their nalgas 5-1.
• Juan Roman Riquelme who? Villareal beat up on bottom feeders Levante 3-1 to stay within four points of Real Madrid.
• We’re so in love with fútbol that even bottom tier teams excite us. Osasuna bulldozed through Real Betis 3-0, lifting them to eleventh place! Okay, we’re not that excited.
• Real Zaragoza (yes everyone is anointed by the “king”) snatched three points away from Almeria, beating them 1-0.
