There’s Going To Be A Lot Of Partying In Brazil Come 2014

We light up like roman candles whenever we hear the words “World Cup.” It’s like when you were a kid and you heard the words “no school today.” At that moment, nothing could beat that feeling of exhilaration. So when FIFA revealed today that Brazil would host the 2014 World Cup Finals, we nodded in accordance. However, the news came as no surprise because Brazil was the only country to actually bid on the games.

The other South American nations agreed to back Brazil, who have won the World Cup a record five times, as their only candidate in 2003.
Two-time winner and former Brazil coach Mario Zagallo said: “I’ve no doubt the 2014 World Cup will be in Brazil.”

Good job “other South American nations.” Fútbol and bikinis are much more than we could ever ask for in this lifetime. Is it too early to celebrate with a caipirinha? Nah.
