Adriano Denies Being On The Wagon, Implies His Career May Just Be Over

Adriano’s currently on a paid vacation in Sao Paulo, Brazil where he’s trying to recuperate from a year and a half’s worth of boozing and losing. The Brazilian striker was shipped to Brazil by Italian club Inter Milan in order to regain that shimmer he once had on the pitch. Hey Dan, we likes the booze too. Can we go to Spain to rest? Along with his deteriorated career, Adriano’s also been scrutinized for taking his liver for granted. But he’s denying that his so-called drinking problem even exists.

“It’s not like people say,” Adriano said in a news conference in. “They say that I’m resorting to alcohol to overcome my problems, but it’s not like that.
“Everybody goes through a difficult moment. I hope to overcome this situation and play soccer again, which is what I love the most.”
