It’s that glorious time of the month again. Matchday 4 already provided some shock and awe yesterday and we’re getting riled up for some more European Champions’ League action. Sixteen games are spread over Tuesday and Wednesday matchdays, and with a historic Tuesday in the books, it’s time to concentrate on today’s fixtures. Will FC Barcelona buckle? Will Cesc Fabregas take continue his great run? Will Cristiano Ronaldo release a book after today’s slaughtering of Dynamo Kiev? Probably. Someone go get us some booze so we can blog and shyte.

  • Barcelona V Rangers: 14:45 ET - Estadio Camp Nou

The only thing scarier about Barcelona’s front line is how that front line plays at home. We saw what a healthy Ronaldinho can do when he’s on home turf. And the rest goes for the Catalans. Rangers, we’re not giving you much because you’re defending a goalless draw at the Camp Nou. Barca defender Carlos Puyol put it bluntly, “It is important to score as soon as possible.” The Rangers can play some stifling defense, but make no mistake that Rijkaard will have his full arsenal out there: minus Deco and Eto’o of course, but who needs them anyway.

  • Manchester United V Dynamo Kiev: 14:45 ET - Old Trafford
We bet Sir Alex Ferguson would love to celebrate his 21 year anniversary as Manchester United coach with a win tonight. He already established himself as a douche so a win couldn’t hurt. Man Utd. are currently tied for 1st place in their domestic league. And after a draw with co-leaders Arsenal FC this weekend, they’ll be looking to slice Dynamo tonight. At this moment (with about forty minutes to kick-off) Cristiano is probably pampering himself up, combing his glossy hair, and reciting “You are the greatest. You are the greatest. You are the greatest.” No, really. We have sources and that’s exactly what he’s doing right now.
  • Slavia Prague V Arsenal: 14:45 ET - Evzena Rosickeho Stadium
So who would’ve thought that Arsenal FC would be flying high without Thierry Henry? Actually, everyone. Manager Arsene Wenger has a little extra push for tonight, but he’ll be without young stud Cesc Fabregas.

“Cesc has nearly played every single minute since the start of the season,” said Wenger.
“If you get him injured, it’s three or four games out. If you can give him a breather at some stage it is not too bad.

What!? Fabregas can rest during the winter break. Oh, that’s right. England doesn’t believe in breaks. Suck it up Fabregas! We want some thrashing, Liverpool style!

Other matches today include Lyon V VfB Stuttgart, Sporting Lisbon V Roma, Fenerbahce V PSV Eindhoven, Inter Milan V CSKA Moscow, and Steaua Bucuresti V FC Sevilla. All games begin at 14:45 EST. Check local listings.
