David Beckham Has A Lot Of Time On His Hands These Days, Befriends Rapper Snoop Dogg

Since Beck’s has the Winter off, he’s had to find ways to keep busy. And you know Tinseltown, if you aren’t rollin’ deep and proud, then you’re not part of the cool kids. Turns out rapper Snoop D-O-double G has come to the rescue by employing Beck’s to teach his kids how to play soccer. Are they rollin’ joints after? No, really. Tell us if they are.

“David and I go back years. I asked him to come over and do me this favour as he is the one who has made everyone wake up and pay attention to soccer over here. He is terrific with my kids and they had a great time as he taught them how to shoot and score the perfect goal. That’s a partnership you never thought you would see - Snoop and Beckham.”

At least Beckham’s arrival to Los Angeles isn’t a spoil to everyone. But now you’ve seriously got to wonder why his fitness has been so sketchy all year. A little puff puff give? Maybe. But the news doesn’t end there. Turns out Snoop wants to make sure he returns the favor.

And Snoop - real name Calvin Broadus - is so grateful to Beckham for teaching his kids Corde, Cordell, and Cori the basics of soccer, he has offered to return the favour and give young Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz lessons in lyricism. He adds, “I love soccer just as he loves hip-hop. He hasn’t asked me to teach his kids how to rap yet - but I’m there if he ever needs it.”
