El Tri Get Some New Threads, Keep Crappy Coach

We’ve definitely got a hearty fascination with soccer jerseys. So when Mexico’s head coach Hugo Sanchez and Mexican national midfielder Andres Guardado unveiled the latest version of El Tri’s threads yesterday, we thought, “another $75 worth of hard earned blogging money gone.” This must be the way Mexico thinks it can bury the last two horrendous months. They were held off to a 2-2 draw with Nigeria in mid-October; and then staggered to a 3-2 defeat in a friendly against Guatemala a few days later.

The threads (we still think this version is the best) won’t change the team, but it’s great for us because we desperately needed an addition to our wardrobe.
