Formula One Racer Fernando Alonso Takes His Battles Elsewhere

Formula One racing team McLaren is finishing off a shitty year by parting ways with Spanish racer Fernando Alonso. The news comes only a few months after a scandal wrecked the Formula One crew. Alonso never found his footing with McLaren, declaring that even though it was always his dream to race for them, he just never felt at home.

“I know there have been suggestions of favoritism within the team and people say a lot of things in the heat of battle, but in the end I was always provided with an equal opportunity to win. Today’s decision allows all of us to focus on 2008.”

You think they were wearing battalion gear from the Middle Ages in that battle? Whatever. It makes absolutely no sense to us why a racing team released one of their top-ranked drivers after their numbers staggered like a dehydrated marathon racer. Someone is definitely hitting the mota in that front office.
