The Mexican acting duo made up of Diego Luna and Gabriel Garcia Bernal are currently in post-production on a new movie called “Rudo Y Cursi“. There isn’t much hype as to what the film’s about, but our savvy reseach skills lead us to the flick having something to do with two brothers playing on rival soccer teams, trying to figure out how to love each other. The basic translation of the title equates to “Rough and Corny”; and if their last collaboration (”Y Tu Mama Tambien“) is any hint of what’s to come, then we might see more than sombreritos and chilenas on the soccer pitch, if ya know what we mean. You know? Yeah, you know. No word as to who the brothers play for–whether fictional or real teams–but a grudge between an America player and a Chivas de Guadalajara player seems like a good plot for the big screen. Whatever, they’ll probably start making out in the locker rooms after they both find out the woman they love is screwing their sports agent, leading them to capsize emotionally and, well, yeah. No date as to when the film is supposed to release.
