Adriano’s Italian playing days are over…at least for now. The 25 year-old Brazilian has been battling booze and lazy-assitis the last year and Inter Milan think it’s time for him to straighten up. His punishment prescription: Adriano is scheduled to catch the first flight out of Milan to Brazil.

‘Adriano…will leave for Brazil where he will undergo several weeks of psychophysical training to regain peak physical condition,’ said a statement on Inter’s website.
‘As agreed by the club, the player and his agent Gilmar Rinaldi, the Inter striker will train at a highly qualified centre in Sao Paolo.
‘The common goal is to give the striker the possibility to undergo a period of specific individual training sessions. The period of training will conclude on January 1, 2008.’

Look on the bright side Adriano, other Brazilian stars are trying to find a way out of Italy and Inter Milan is giving you a free ride back home. A few capirinhas on the plane should settle your nerves. That reminds us, it’s Friday and happy hour is in full swing!
