Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao Says, “Bring On The MexiCans”

It’s set. Start saving your money. Request the day off. Oh wait it’s a Saturday. Never mind. Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez are ready to throwdown come March 15th in a fight for the WBC Superfeatherweight title. Pacquiao has bulldozed through almost every Mexican fighter out there, and after Marquez called him out as a coward, Manny swung back by ok’ing a rematch fight that most boxing aficionados were hoping for. Pacquiao and Marquez fought a classic fight on May 8, 2004 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas where Pacquiao decked Marquez to the canvas three times in the first round but Marquez later recovered to dominate Pacquiao in most of the remaining rounds. The controversial draw verdict left everyone wanting to see a rematch but several negotiations fell through bringing the latest negotiation to almost four years after the first fight.

There’s nothing like two .02% body-fat thugs trying to mangle the other’s noggin’. Now if only they could get Felix Trinidad to come back from retirement, Pacquiao could try and conquer Latin America, via boxers that is.
