Looks like the “Diesel” has finally run out of gas in Miami. The Miami Heat center Shaquille O’neil has been playing as well as, well, anyone who’s going over the hill and through a divorce. His stats are down, the Heat stink and soon the Miami humidity will turn him into a puddle of ego if he’s not careful. Heat’s point guard, Dwayne Wade, has come out and publicly told the eroding Goliath to step it up.

“Probably this year more so than any year I have been more vocal with Shaq, talking to him and trying to motivate him,” Wade told reporters on Thursday. “But the main thing is Shaq has got to be self-motivated. He has got to be willing and ready to do it.”

We bet it’ll be considerably different from his adolescent-like exchanges with Kobe Bryant during his Laker years. Wade goes on to clarify that him and Shaq are like bosom buddies and stuff.

“He’s our leader, [along] with myself. When you hear about the Miami Heat, it’s Shaq and D-Wade. A lot is on us to lead the team and we have got to find a way to do it.”

Winning against mediocre teams is a start. Oops. Also, stop getting into foul trouble with 42 minutes left in the game. That might help. Oh, and after 16 seasons of practicing, maybe you can make a free-throw or two; you know, for shits and giggles.
