Tony Romo Doesn’t Want To Be Compared To Some Cheese Head

This Thursday night, the few people who get the NFL Network will watch the biggest NFC game of the year between the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers. The teams are 10-1, leading the race for the Super Bowl and they have very similar-styled quarterbacks. At least that’s the angle the media’s been shoving down readers’ throats since last week (it’s a good way to get the Thanksgiving dinner down). Instead of just basking in the glow, however, Antonio Romo isn’t having any of the Favre comparisons.
“Brett’s Brett,” Romo said. “At the end of the day, anyone who tries to pretend there’s another Brett is just kidding themselves. That’s like saying you’ve got the next Jordan and all that stuff. That’s just what people want to talk about.”
Yeah, Brett Favre’s only won one Super Bowl and been married to the same woman since high school. Antonio’s waiting for the big time ups—being compared to Tom Brady. Three rings and a dating a supermodel while knocking up an actress he doesn’t have to marry. Yeah, that’s what he wants.
