You Say You Want A (Ride To The) Revolution (Game)?

In a show of fan appreciation not seen since the Raiders put metal detectors in the stadium, owners of the MLS‘ New England Revolution will be sending buses to the championship game in D.C. on their dime. For anyone interested in going, the buses will leave Gillette Stadium, the team’s home, late Saturday. They’ll be heading back to Boston “early Monday,” meaning whatever time the driver gets over his hangover.
“Our fans have been the backbone of our team since its early years, so we’re proud to be able to provide them with free round-trip transportation to MLS Cup 2007,” said owner Robert Kraft, who also owns the NFL New England Patriots.
Robert Kraft is crafty. If the Revolution’s fans spark them to a win, and the Patriots win the Super Bowl, that’ll be quite the cash cow combination. He gets even richer, minus the cost of renting some buses and the gas. Can anyone lose in Boston anymore?
