Boxing Promoter Bob Arum Calls “Pretty Boy” Mayweather Jr. “Yella”

There’s nothing really left for Floyd Mayweather Jr. to conquer. He recently destroyed British brute Ricky Hatton, giving him his second unanimous defeat of the year. He’s pocketed more than fifty million in earnings in 2007 and his record is as pretty as his bling. So why keep fighting? Not us. We’d be in Ibiza chuggin’ Estrella Galicia and calling for an early retirement. Well, boxing promoter Bob Arum thinks that’s just silly; and he’s called out Mayweather Jr. as a chicken shit for not declaring Miguel Cotto as his next opponent.

Bob Arum says Floyd Mayweather will duck Miguel Cotto if he thinks there’s a chance of losing. He accused Mayweather of “the biggest con game ever”, and told the Los Angeles Times: “If (Mayweather) thinks he has a chance to lose, he won’t take a fight.
“He’s afraid to lose, and that’s a horrible, horrible thing…Anyone who’s not realising that’s what’s happening with Floyd is moronic.”

Did Arum mistake Floyd Mayweather Jr. with Marty McFly? We’re not sure we’d even pay for a Miguel Cotto/Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight. We’d definitely go for a Mayweather Jr. fights a tiger. That would be sweet.
