Former Yankee Jim Leyritz In Jail For Being A Drunken Murderer

Jim Leyritz, the crazy “Hellraiser”-esque/Aryan brotherhood looking douche to the right, has been cited and booked for manslaughter after his drunk ass careened out of control, striking another vehicle and killing the driver.

Leyritz, whose 44th birthday was Thursday, was in a car accident near Southwest Seventh Avenue and Second Street — the heart of Fort Lauderdale’s Himmarshee Street bar district.
The jail website indicated Leyritz was charged with two counts of drunken driving, including DUI that causes death to a human. Bond was set at $11,000, and jail records show he posted the bond and was released Friday afternoon.
Fort Lauderdale police confirmed that a woman in the car Leyritz allegedly hit was ejected and died. The former baseball pro refused a sobriety test, according to authorities.
