Joe Namath Is Getting His Bachelor’s Degree: We’re Puzzled By The “Bachelor” Part.

You didn’t think he gained that stellar charm from hitting the books did ya? Sports Illustrated reports that Hall Of Fame quarterback Joe Namath (pictured right in his Alabama uniform) is about to be inducted into Alabama’s alumni via a bachelor degree he never completed.

Namath has worked toward his bachelor of arts degree for the past five years through Alabama’s External Degree program, known as EXD. He will be one of more than 900 graduates participating in the ceremony at Coleman Coliseum.
Namath, who left Alabama in 1965 some 15 credits shy of his degree, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame 20 years later.

We’re guessing it’s a communications degree, but that’s just a hunch.
