Did you know the 5th Annual Premios Fox Sports awards are a week from today? You didn’t? Really!? Well we forgot, too. But it’s all good. That’s why we’re here. To remind you of those meaningless awards we’re always talking about. But this shtip is rounding out to be quite a list of grade-A quality athletes. Vice prez of the event, Patrick Llabaca fills us in:
“This year’s edition of Premios Fox Sports is already shaping up to be one of our best ever. We are proud to once again recognize the year’s most outstanding contributions by Latino athletes and personalities from the world of sports and to continue to be the industry’s only awards show of its kind. We are confident the 5th Annual Premios Fox Sports event in Miami Beach will raise the bar even further as the most anticipated sports event of the year amongst our advertisers, sponsors, viewers and sports enthusiasts alike.”
Oh really? Well let’s just take a gander at what you’ve tossed in the bucket, Señor Llabaca.

What?! No category of “Latin American Athletes Who Completely Made A Full Out Of Themselves…In Drag?” Horrible. Others excluded from this cock-fest: Cuauhtemoc Blanco from the Chicago Fire and you know, every other Latin American soccer player that made an impact in MLS. And where’s Manny Ramirez? And the Cleveland Cavaliers Anderson Varejao? He made it to the freakin’ NBA Finals! With 21/45 possible award nominations going to Argentina, we’re guessing someone’s playing favorites.
