The International Olympics Committee (IOC) isn’t planning on having any of their beloved events marred by match-fixing scandals. IOC President Jacque Rogges wants the international sports circuit to unite, “We Are The World” steelo, and create a front against the arrogant match-fixers and cheaters of the world. Since soccer’s seen more cheating than a night out with A-Rod, the IOC wants to make sure no one is tempted to put a “dolla make ya holla” on the games.

“This is something we have to address,” Rogge told reporters after an executive board meeting…”This is what we did in the fight against doping. Bona fide betting companies can give us early warning of abnormal betting patterns,” Rogge said…”I don’t see the Olympics as a particularly high-risk target…There is no reason based on intelligence that the Olympics are a potential target. Bad guys can go to other events,”

We’ll see about that when a ravenous epidemic of cramps makes it’s way across the games.
