Fight Night At The Carling Cup

Arsenal’s 5-1 Carling Cup exit wasn’t just marred by their horrendous play. The Gunners, down 4-0 within moments, decided they weren’t embarrassed enough, so a few players within the team took it upon themselves to start wailing on each other out of frustration.

Emmanuel Adebayor appeared to butt Arsenal team-mate Nicklas Bendtner during a furious bust-up as Spurs stormed into the Carling Cup final.
Bendtner was left with a gash on the bridge of his nose before skipper William Gallas managed to pull the warring duo apart.

We saw the incident and it was hardly a war. And in Adebayor’s defense, Bendtner is an ugly ass fool anyway. And the Carling Cup means squat. This loss will inevitably give Arsenal more time to concentrate on how they’ll stunt Manchester United’s progression. We’re not sure a Nick Bendtner/Emmanuel Adebayor combo can take on Wayne Rooney/Ricky Hatton tag team boxing bout, but we’d pay big bucks for someone to put it on. Whatever the case, Arsenal’s frustrations were a display of sincerity and Manchester United should be wary. We hope this isn’t the mood we’re in all day.
