Maradona Crazy Watch: Too Much Coke=Mad Innovation

Here is a video of Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi and Carlos Tevez playing a hybrid soccer/volleyball game Diego obviously thought of during a crazed Medellin night in 1984. There are so many questions we want answered: why is Messi the only one in red—is he the goal keeper? Is Carlos Tevez that unbalanced that he keeps costing his team points? And finally, why do the announcers call Maradona, Diego? We were half-expecting the high number 10 to kick the ball at one of their faces and yell, “It’s Maradona, motherfucker, and I’ve snorted bumps bigger than you before breakfast.” Except, you know, in Spanish.
