Did Ohio State fans not receive the memo outlining, in detail, that they were going to lose the BCS Championship game last night? Apparently because Buckeye fans, inspired by a horrendous, self-inflicted debacle, decided to cause a raucous around Ohio State’s campus.
Fifteen people were arrested and several fires set around the Ohio State campus after the Buckeyes lost to LSU in the BCS championship game Monday night.
Most of the arrests were on charges of disorderly conduct or resisting arrest, though two were expected to be charged by arson
investigations after trash bins were sit on fire, police spokeswoman Amanda Ford said Tuesday. Between 10 and 12 fires were
reported.
We’re officially ceasing transmission of college football coverage (until college football cheerleaders start showing more than this) because when the riots start, the cops show up and we have to put away our lighters.
