The consensus around the sports world: Indianapolis will thrash the San Diego Chargers this coming weekend. We’re gonna go ahead and join the party. The only reason we’re dismissing the Chargers has to do with the fact that we’re confident they’ll buckle under the pressure; and we can’t stand Philip Rivers; and the Chargers without Junior Seau are like a chicken without it’s head; and because we’ve never liked anything that comes out of San Diego. Well, that’s not entirely true. Seeing as this will be the last NFL playoff win San Diego will see this decade, we felt it was necessary to offer San Diego-ans(?) some advice. When you’re down and out, and you want to scour towards Camp Pendelton to throw your life away, just stop, breathe a bit and go buy yourself the most iconic of Southern Cali comfort foods: the California burrito.

This lovely artery-buster is a secret treat, disguised by San Diego’s Mexican population as a normal burrito with a special name, but is totally freakin’ different…and awesome. In our opinion, it’s the perfect tailgate food for this weekend’s playoff game.
UrbanDictionary has the lowdown on the fundamentals, but we’ll just fill you in on the secret ingredient: they put French fries in the burrito! Yeah, no shit. So, San Diego fans, when you’re all bummy and back to your sandals and board shorts this weekend, just remember you always have the greatest damn burrito ever to comfort you. 70 degree Winter weather will probably help as well.
