We love Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov because A) he’s probably the best striker not in Champion’s League play–as shown by his four goal burst against Aston Villa last Saturday–and B) he looks like a Bulgarian Andy Garcia. Apparently his coach Juande Ramos loves him that much too because as the EPL’s transfer window comes to a close, he says it’ll take surpassing the current record of $60 million for another club to get him. Oof, that’s Russian oil baron money right there.

“I think a club would have to break the British transfer record to sign Berbatov,” said Ramos.”At this moment Berbatov’s value is more than this price. At least that is what we think. But everyone has a price. The intention of Tottenham is not to sell the player.

He added: “Unless something strange happens - and I think it will not happen - there’s not going to be a club that will pay the price that Tottenham could accept.”

Hear that ringing, Juande? It’s Roman Abramovich calling from his solid gold phone aboard his jet. He’s wondering if you take cash…cha-ching!
