Andy Pettitte’s Dad Is A Great Man

So there’s a Congressional hearing that just ended involving Roger Clemens, Brian McNamee and a panel of grossly overpaid Congressdudes. Our enthusiasm on the matter is parallel to signing up for a colonoscopy. Yeah. You get it. However, there was semi-startling news this morning that appeared on our daily feed that read “Pettitte admits using HGH in 2004.” First, we were confused and thought, “Yahoo was regurgitating old news?” Which, Pettitte actually doing H.G.H., is in fact old news. However, it appears that Andy Pettitte has gone back on his claim that he took H.G.H. for a two-day period in 2002 by including a one-day juice fest in 2004.

Andy Pettitte admitted using human growth hormone in 2004, saying it was supplied to him that time by his father.
“In that affidavit, Andy informed the committee that in addition to the two shots a day of HGH he took for two days in 2002, he also took HGH for a one-day period in 2004, shortly preceding season-ending elbow surgery,” his lawyers, Jay Reisinger, Thomas Farrell and James Sharp, said in a statement Wednesday.

2) Will Roger Clemens finally resort to, ahem, tell the truth? Um, probably not.
3) Can one go to Canada to get H.G.H. for free. We bet Chris Berman would know.
