Claudia Porras Is Our New, Favorite Women’s Basketball Player

Sports By Brooks lead us to Claudia Porras this morning. She’s a 6-foot-1 Bolivian basketball player at UTEP (the University of Texas, El Paso) whose found a home in El Paso. She was profiled in the El Paso Times this week because, well, she’s gorgeous and she can hit a jump shot. Just admit it, we all want that combo. Someone know how to get UTEP games on Dish Network? “She has a great attitude, a great work ethic,” UTEP coach Keitha Adams said. “She’s a good student; she’s a real joy to have in the program.
“She’s a great role player whose helped us coming off the bench, and she’s very willing to do that. She understands the whole team concept. She’s been good for us, on the court and off.”

Good for her. Sincerely. We mean it. Now, someone send us a poster of her, asap. Is she in a calendar? She should be. Send us that, too.
