Luis Figo is now old, ready for retirement and straining to come back from a brutal leg injury he suffered last November. But back in 2002, he was lighting up Real Madrid’s offense with gorgeous crosses and beautiful lofts of greatness. This goal comes at the mercy of Manchester United, during Champions League play. We can’t help but notice that Roberto Carlos, playing for Turkish club Fenerbahce, along with Zinedine Zidane, made Real Madrid one of the most volatile clubs in Europe. Then they traded for Becks, Woody and decided to try out Pablo Garcia and Diogo and it all went to crap. Ahh, memories.
