Today is National Signing Day. It’s the day when high schoolers take a few steps closer to selling their souls to the glitz and glamor of college football. This means hotter cheerleaders (usually) to choose from, more perks (if you’re savvy and lucky, meaning don’t be dumb like Reggie Bush) and you’re roughly four years away from the Pros. If you don’t blow it. Or your knee doesn’t blow it.
Julio Jones is probably the best wide reciever’s on every scouts wishlist. It’s the reason why he was highlighted on every major sports. An Alabama native, Jones is a towering 6′4″ and 214lbs. With a gift like that, he’s on his way to being great, or being Randy Moss. He best be aiming for the former because after this weekend, we all witnessed that a bit of defense will knock Randy off his game. Julio Jones played his high school ball at Foley High School in Alabama, so it comes to no suprise that he’s pledged his future to SEC giants Alabama. Will this be a bust for Alabama, or is Jones the real deal. A video of Julio Jones after the jump to enlighten you.
