Liverpool Defender Martin Skrtel Kicked Out Of Taxi By Psycho Everton Driver

When do you ever, unless you live in New York City, want to deal with public transportation? In England, you have those cool cabs to chauffeur you around, but even that can turn into a miserable experience. Take recently signed Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel. He jumped into a cab this week and found himself chillin’ on the curb after the taxi driver threw him out because he was an Everton fan. An Everton fan!

“When the chauffeur realized that he was with a Liverpool player, he made me get out”, stated the 23 year old.
According to the Slavic international, the taxi driver justified his decision on the basis that he was an Everton fan.

Sounds like a chivalrous move considering he could have kidnapped Skrtel, taken him to the local Everton pub and introduced him to a dozen proud, drunk and belligerent Everton fans.
