It was one year ago today that current Tottenham Hotspur head coach–and former Sevilla FC head coach–Juande Ramos was knocked the funk out by a bottle thrown from a Real Betis fan during a Copa Del Rey match in Spain. Ramos’ noggin has healed well and he’s gone on to bigger and better things in England.
And now, a Spanish judge has ruled that the genius who threw the bottle should pay £3,500 in fines and is accountable for £275 in compensation to be paid to Juande Ramos. That’s, like, $550 for getting KO’d and humiliated in your home country! Not a bad day of work. Since Machochip was merely a barrel of fermenting booze back in February of last year, we’ll catch ya up on the fiasco by providing the video of the KO after the jump. Oh happy day!
