David Beckham has been recalled by Fabio Capello to play in a friendly against froggies, France, which will provide him with his illusive 100th Cap that he’s been chasing like a dog.

Capello said: “I always said that when David Beckham was fit he could be in the squad.
“I have had good reports on him from Franco Baldini, who watched him on Saturday night, and also from his club.
“I know a lot about David Beckham and what he can offer the team.”

Is it really news to report that Fabio Capello has pitifully recalled David Beckham back to the England squad? We squabbled a bit with this topic because, though we have a significant amount of MLS and Premiership fans on the site, David Beckham’s 100 caps mean shite to everyone, except him. Yet, England isn’t really playing for much so we guess it’s symbolic, somehow. In other news: Beckham has a new tattoo written in Chinese caligraphy that reads, “Landon Donovan is cute in the showers.”
