Werder Bremen’s Diego is close to signing a new deal that will take him to the bright lights of Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu. We don’t catch much of the Bundesliga, but we liked him immediately in a Brazil jersey because he rivaled all the Argentine dwarfs. Question: why did homeboy stop running towards goal? There’s no doubt in our minds that any South American would have tried to bicycle kick save that shot.
