Lebron James is only the third man to ever grace the cover of Vogue magazine and he’s definitely the coolest. Richard Gere was on the cover in 1992 and George Clooney in 2000, but that doesn’t impress us. No offense to them, but our enthusiasm over Lebron stems from the fact that he can dunk backwards, forwards and in windmill form. Also, his commercials are hilarious. And Lebron makes Gisele look hotter. And he looks like King Kong grabbing Naomi Watts (or Fay Wray, you old farts.) which amplifies the awesomeness. George Clooney can’t do that. But what does Lebron think?

“It’s pretty good,” James said Thursday night before the Cavs’ game in Washington. “Me being a big guy and a big supporter of fashion, to be on the cover with Gisele, on the cover of the biggest fashion magazine ever — it’s pretty good.”

Vogue’s editor will receive a Kobe Bryant phone call soon.
