Manchester United’s Darren Fletcher Doesn’t Know His Own Strength

After a big win, we’ve seen professional athletes turn into a lot of things–womanizers, jerks to fans, Disneyland patrons. Now, Man U’s Darren Fletcher has added something else to that list–The Incredible Hulk–because he reportedly yanked a bathroom stall door off its frame after his team’s win over Lyon last week. This would usually be no big deal, but the door bludgeoned the Red Devil, causing blood to pour from his head. Hopefully the steroids adrenaline running through his veins helped ease the pain.

The 24-year-old required stitches in a head wound and a club insider told the Daily Record: “It happened half an hour after the end of the match. It looked very, very nasty.

“I don’t know if fittings had come loose or what - but when Darren went to open the door, it came away and clobbered him.

“I saw blood pouring out and the medical staff had to treat him there and then. I know he got stitches. He looked pretty dazed and pretty shocked. You don’t expect a door to just fall on you.”

You would think unexpected door bludgeonings would be the most random thing to come out of the Manchester United camp this season, right? Unfortunately, we’d have to disagree with you.
