People say you should feel safe when there are crying babies on board an airplane. We personally feel rage and anxiety, and want to scream “pipe down junior!” We’d feel much safer is there were Rugby players on board our plane because that way unruly passengers would be given time out and forced to shut the hell up. That’s exactly what some South African Super 14 rugby players did from a team called “The Stormers.”

Smarting from a last minute loss to the Blues in Auckland, the Stormers were flying from Sydney to Perth on Sunday when an apparently alcohol-affected passenger started causing trouble…

We hope this doesn’t link to airline prohibition. Continue, reporter person.

“The crew realised the Stormers are quite big,” team manager Frikkie Erasmus told AAP.
“So a few of the boys went back to deal with the guy.
“He became extremely aggressive and abusive. So that’s when one of our number gave him a bit of a slap. That seemed to do the trick.
“When we landed in Perth the federal police boarded the plane and arrested the passenger and took statements from the players.
“The crew thanked us for helping out.”

They should offer them jobs, is what they should do. The average Southern Hemisphere Rugby player makes about $60,000 a year. We’re sure airlines can match that, and throw in an incentive, like, keeping your teeth when work is over.
