San Francisco Giants’ Pitcher Noah Lowry Is Pretty Lousy

A bad day at the office can mean a day screwed and a severe headache until bedtime for some people. But when you’re Noah Lowry, a pitching outing like yesterday’s could lead to him looking for an alternative career. That’s because the guy was pitching like the “Wild Thing” without the bifocals.

Noah Lowry walked nine of the first 12 hitters he faced Monday in the San Francisco Giants’ 6-4 loss to the Texas Rangers in 10 innings.
Lowry threw 24 pitches before a Texas hitter took a swing. He went through the order once without an official at-bat — along with the walks, Ben Broussard and David Murphy hit sacrifice flies.

Lowry has walked 12 in 2 1/3 innings this spring and has an ERA of 23.14. He left without speaking to reporters but issued a statement through the team.
“There’s not much to say when you don’t throw any strikes,” he said. ” I’m upset my spring has started the way it has.”

The San Francisco Chronicle expanded on Lowry’s erratic style further and fell short of advising the youngster to reconsider his playing days. Hey bro, we’ve never been there, but we’re wishing the best when you get cut.
