Welcome El Fuerte, Your Newest Street Fighter

Most of our Junior High experience can be summed up in three words… well, two words and a number—Street Fighter II. Ever since then, we’ve been fixated with the 2D fighting franchise to the point of dressing up as various characters for Halloween (no, not Chun Li, even if we have the same size thighs).
So it goes without saying that we’re excited about the release sometime in the near future of Street Fighter IV. And while we were nerding out, we came across this picture of a new character in the game—El Fuerte, a luchador that “divides his professional life between Lucha Libre wrestling and gourmet cooking”. Dude, that’s totally like us… if you substitute “Lucha Libre wrestling” for “blogging” and “gourmet cooking” for “Chipotle three times a day.” So welcome to our Street Fighter world, El Fuerte. We look forward to seeing what kind of projectiles they have you fire-balling out of your hands.
