Boxer Joe Calzaghe Impressed His Image Is On Blackjack Tables In Las Vegas

The perks linked to an athlete’s success are fame, women and enough money to swim in. The elite will have so much money that they can actually buy fame and women whenever they desire. Oh do we dream the dreams of frivolous men. Anyway, Welsh boxer Joe Calzaghe is a humble man. But he wants everyone to know that he’s ecstatic about his face immortalized on a blackjack table in Las Vegas. Sin City is gearing up for the Bernard Hopkins/Joe Calzaghe showdown this weekend and screw mentally preparing yourself for a major fight, let’s talk about the slot machines with our face plastered on them!

But I got a shock when I saw the blackjack tables in the casino as they were plastered with images of me and Hopkins from the fight poster.
There are slot machines branded with the Battle of the Planet fight theme and even the key cards for your room display a copy of our poster.
I’ve already had a word with Planet Hollywood owner Robert Earl to see if I can have one of the blackjack tables for my games room and he said yes.
It will be something to show the grandkids — but I don’t think I’m going to let my old man have a go on it!

Granted, no one in the world does it like Las Vegas. It’s the zenith of spectacle. And if it weren’t for Las Vegas, Hopkins and Calzaghe would be fighting in a cauldron of pig shit and no satellite access. Yes, Joe.
