The Peruvian Football Federation suspended Leguizamon — one of San Martin’s stars — for one month without pay this week for telling referee Silvia Reyes that she was unsatisfied sexually after she gave him a red card during national league play against Alianza Atletico on Sunday.
“Leguizamon is leaving because our image has been damaged before the public,” San Martin coach Alvaro Barco said.
