250lb Andruw Jones Has Bum Knee, Giant Wart Residing On Knee

When Los Angeles Dodgers’ OF Andruw Jones ripped fans for questioning his weight, productivity, batting average, commitment to success, dedication, etc, we knew our voodoo doll karma would saunter in and lay the smack down. Actually, we envisioned Jones’ slump months ago, but we never thought he’d go down with a knee injury. Commence Dodgers’ tradition:

Struggling Los Angeles Dodges outfielder Andruw Jones has torn cartilage and a buildup of fluid in his right knee, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Jones said he will undergo surgery that will sideline him for four to five weeks if the swelling doesn’t subside by Friday. The damage was found during an MRI exam he underwent Monday,
Jones, who signed a two-year, $36.2-million deal in the winter but is batting only .167, said he felt discomfort in his knee during the weekend series in Anaheim, during which he went 0-for-11.

Hear that? It’s Ned Colletti flushing money down the toilet. But the knee problem isn’t Andruw Jones only problem.

Jones said he also has a golf-ball sized wart behind his knee that might have to be surgically removed.

Sequester the dude and quarantine his ass before every Dodger ends up looking like the Wicked Witch of the East.
