Austrians Take Their Losses Differently Than Other Countries Do

When we think of the song “Singin’ In The Rain,” two things come to mind–Fred Astaire traipsing in a downpour, or Roddy McDowell kicking the crap out of the old man in A Clockwork Orange. Now we have a third entry which falls roughly in between the two. After the Austrian National Rugby team has their asses handed to them by Lithuania 48-0, 20 of them decided to strip en masse and show said asses (and everything else) to a group of diners in the capital city of Vilnius. Little did they expect, however, that they’d be captured on video going the fully monty and shown across the internet. Ah, rugby players–earning their lunkhead titles one bonehead move at a time. We love this quote about the incident from the Lithuanians:

“Yes, these were the men we played against on Saturday … I guess the defeat could have prompted them to do that,” Lithuanian rugby federation President Aleksandras Makarenka told Reuters.
