The world has been chanting a familiar chorus about MLS since David Beckham stepped onto the Home Depot Center’s pitch for the first time: when is America going to embrace the globalized characteristics of the “World Game?” Unbeknown to most critics was the possibility that the global characteristics adopted by American soccer would revolve around xenophobic chants and barbaric chants. Look, we new the flares would eventually plaster soccer fields in America, but we thought MLS games were attended by AYSO parents and the random European vacationing on holiday. If this video is a testament to anything, it’s that Americans are as racist as Spain, Italy, the Polish and them monkey-howling taunters in France. First, we overpay an aging star and now we’re taunting our black players. At this rate we’ll establish a formidabble league by the year 2035. Racist bastards after the jump.
